Senior Passport Program
The Concord Parks and Recreation Departments "Drop In" Senior Citizen Program is designed to offer free and low cost programs for Senior Citizens, age 55 and older.
Many programs are free of charge, unless otherwise noted. Non-residents are charged a higher fee for all classes and for our Senior Passport.
The Senior Passport is free to residents while non-residents are charged $50 for the year.
In addition to our Senior Passport program, we also offer numerous programs just for adults. Please review our adult brochure for information on these classes.
Our Senior Passport Program
- All participants must check in at the front desk and swipe your Senior Passport Key Fob. If you do not have one our Senior Passport it is free to Concord/Penacook Residents 55 years old and over. Nonresidents are charged a $50 yearly fee. You can fill out the paperwork at the front desk of the community center.
- Several of our senior programs with have limited space, see schedule for details and pre-registration may be required.
- Our programs change monthly so we encourage everyone to check our monthly schedule. Some of our regular programs include indoor and outdoor walking, cribbage, Mah Jongg, book discussion groups, coffee socials, meals with CAP and more.
- Please check our monthly schedule for activities. The senior lounge at the City-Wide Community center is open for senior passport holders Monday - Friday from 9:30am to 1 pm. Please check the monthly schedule for program updates.
The new community room and library is now open in Penacook! Penacook Senior Program will fall under the Senior Passport program. Please see below for details. The program runs Tuesday 10 a.m. -2 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. -2 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. - noon. Please see the calendar under quick links for more information.

To pre-register for any program being offered; please call the 603-230-4982 or email seniorprogram@concordnh.gov.
Want to bring a friend? Anyone registered for the senior passport is welcome to bring a friend to check out the senior program. Please check in at the front desk as usual and make staff aware you have a friend with you.
