Youth Soccer
The department offers Spring soccer leagues and well at Fall leagues.
Concord Parks & Recreation offers fall soccer leagues for children ages 4 years old through 6th grade and spring leagues for players ages 4 to 6th grade. Leagues are broken down by age/grade/school. We rely heavily on volunteer coaches for this program. All volunteers are required to pass a police background checks, additionally we provide guidance and training for all coaches.
Fall Game Schedules
SOCCER FUN-DAMENTALS (ages 4 + 5)
Focus is on the fundamentals! Children will begin to learn the basics of soccer. This is a coed program. Shin guards are recommended for this age group. Price includes team T-shirt. Open to residents and nonresidents.
Division I (grades K-1)
This is a co-ed recreational soccer program. Team size is limited to 10 players. This age group will have 1 practice and 1 game per week. Practice times will be held during the week and will be chosen by the volunteer coach. Games will be held on Saturdays. This age group plays a 7 v 7 no goalie format. There are no refs for this league. Shin guards are recommended for this age group. Price includes a team t-shirt. Open to residents and nonresidents.
Division II (grades 2-3)
This division focuses on team concepts with continued emphasis on fundamental skills. Teams will meet two times per week for practices/games. Team size will be limited to 12 players and games are played 8 v 8. We try to supply refs whenever possible if there is no ref assigned to the game coaches will be responsible for keeping the game moving. Shin guards and mouth guards are required for this age group. Price includes team T-shirt. Teams are created by what neighborhood school your child attends. Open to residents and nonresidents. Equal playing for all players during games.
Division III (grades 4-6, Fall 4-5 Spring)
Teams will meet two times per week for practices/games. Team size will be limited to 12 players and games are played 8 v 8. Refs are provided for this league; in the event we don't have a ref the game will be played with help from the coaches. Shin guards and mouth guards are required for this age group. Price includes team T-shirt. Concord/Penacook residents only. Equal playing for all players during games.
