The key functions of the Planning Division are to provide staff support for the Planning Board, review development proposals, and guide the development and implementation of the Master Plan.
The Planning Division also provides staff support to the following:
Concord Next is the City’s overhaul of its zoning ordinance. The new illustrated document will present a guide to “character-based” development that focuses on the physical form and character of the neighborhood that the community wants to create or preserve.
Primarily focused on commercial and residential districts within the Urban Growth Boundary, this two year project will include public participation in the form of community meetings, design charrettes, and online methods of gathering feedback and sharing project deliverables.
