The Demolition Review Committee makes a decision within five business days of receipt of a demolition application as to whether the building might be of historical or architectural significance; if not significant, decides whether there are alternatives or whether demolition can proceed.
Article 26-9-1 Ordinances 2379 and 3124 The Demolition Review Committee is appointed by the Heritage Commission. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please submit a letter of interest and resume to the City Manager's Office. Please understand that your submission is for consideration and does not signify that you will be nominated. Your letter of interest and resume will be kept on file for six months from the date of receipt.
