Updated COVID protocols

Effective February 25, 2022, face coverings will no longer be required to be worn by the public or City employees while inside City buildings. Members of the public and employees may wear a face covering if they choose.

City Council encourages anyone eligible to get vaccinated and boosted and to continue to follow the recommendations set forth by the CDC to slow the spread of COVID-19. Information about vaccines is available through 211 or THIS LINK (NH vaccine and booster information). If you are already fully vaccinated, the CDC also has updated guidance online



Business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The City Clerk's Office and Collections Office are open until 6 p.m. on Thursdays.

Code Administration (located in the City Hall Annex between the City Hall building and the Police Department) is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The mail slot in the front door of City Hall at 41 Green Street can be utilized for the following:


Concord Fire Department’s Headquarters, located at 24 Horseshoe Pond Lane, has a no-contact window available. Call 9-1-1 for Fire Emergencies. To report a non-emergency or to ask a question about permitting, please call (603) 225-8650. 


Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Utility bills can be paid online, by phone, by mail, or in our drop box outside the office (visit for details). Concerns and work requests can be reported online at  


Concord Human Services is open to the public. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday – except Wednesday, when hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 


The Parks and Recreation Offices at the City Wide Community Center will be open regular hours: Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please check the Department's website to confirm hours during holidays: Please call (603) 225-8690 for more information. 

All classes and programs will be held as scheduled. Due to COVID, capacity has been reduced for many programs and pre-registration is required. Please check seasonal brochures for class information at

All city parks are open; please carry in/out trash. 
 The City Wide Community Center, City Auditorium, West Street Ward House and the Green Street Community Center are open for programming and private rentals. 

Cemetery Updates

Currently there is no restriction on the number of guests that can attend a graveside service. 

The chapel is available for services. Number of guests in the chapel is 70.

The Cemetery Office is open by appointment only. Please call (603) 230-3911 and leave a message. A staff member will call back the next business day.


The Concord Police Department has an intercom system available at 35 Green Street. 

For emergencies, call 9-1-1. If you are a victim of domestic violence in need of assistance, please call New Hampshire’s statewide domestic violence hotline at (866) 644-3574.

To report a non-emergency to the Concord Police Department, ask a question about parking, make a delivery, or register as a sex offender, please call (603) 225-8600. Cash payments for parking tickets can be made via the drop box outside City Hall. They can also be paid online:
