Drop-Off Information
Residential trash, recycling, furniture, appliances, construction debris, and miscellaneous acceptable materials can be disposed of at the transfer station. View our list of acceptable materials. Items are weighed on-site to determine rates. Fees will apply for all items, except recyclables and donations. There is a $10.00 minimum transaction fee.
Please seek assistance from the attendant when disposing of over-sized items, electronics, propane tanks, tires, motor oil, anti-freeze, thermostats, thermometers, car batteries, cell phones, and fluorescent light bulbs. Furniture, appliances, and other over-sized items should be disposed of at the transfer station and not left curbside or by any dumpsters.
Christmas Trees
Concord residents with curbside trash and recycling collection can place their Christmas trees curbside for disposal on their trash collection day starting on Monday, January 4. Christmas trees will be collected for two weeks through January 15. Trees must be placed at the curb with residential trash and recycling by 7:00 a.m. to not miss collection. All lights, ornaments, tinsel, and decorations must be completely removed from the tree. Wreaths and artificial trees will not be collected. Please note that trees will be collected in a separate truck from trash and recycling, so items may be collected at different times. Trees can also be taken to the Concord Transfer Station during the month of January for free. The transfer station will be closed on January 1 for New Year’s Day.
