Street Maintenance
The Highways and Utilities Division is responsible for maintenance and repair of the roads, sidewalks, drainage collection system, sewer collection system, and water distribution lines. In the fall, crews are responsible for Fall Leaf Collection. In the winter, crews plow and treat the City streets. Now that spring is here, crews are focusing on maintaining roads by posting spring load limits, paving, and repairing potholes and other road damages.

Paving Program

Concord Road Paving Program
The City of Concord has developed a Neighborhood Street Paving Program to focus road paving efforts on local streets with the highest priority defined by pavement conditions. After previously only being able to make significant investments in Concord's major arterial roads due to reduced expenditures from the Great Recession, the City of Concord is now moving forward to invest in local neighborhood streets.

Please visit our Neighborhood Street Paving Program page to learn about the City's existing paving project, the City's proposed paving budget for fiscal year 2016 through 2017, and to learn about the City's paving process.
