Adult Stick Practice (Ages 14 & Up) continues at the Everett Arena through March 12, 2020. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Additional hours are available Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. through November 25th. Admission is $10. Skate rentals will be available for $5. Helmet and gloves required, full equipment recommended. COVID-19 public skating guidelines are in place. Ice skating continues at the Everett Arena through March 12, 2021. Hours are Monday - Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is $6 for ages 14+ and $5 for ages 13-. Skate rentals will be available for $5. COVID-19 public skating guidelines are in place, including: guests will complete a screening before entry, the main entrance will be used only to enter and the side doors will be only to exit, masks will be required (even while on the ice), rentals will be disinfected after each use, social distancing will be maintained, skaters must skate in the same direction, and capacity will be reduced by at least 50%. Only immediate family will be allowed to spectate to accompany a child. Siblings must stay with parent at all times or the group will be asked to leave. Less black men applied to medical school in 2014 than in 1978 and black men have the lowest life expectancy in the United States. With only 2% of American doctors being black men, this comes as no surprise. This documentary dissects the systemic barriers preventing black men from becoming medical doctors and the consequences on society at large. Run time is 80 minutes. This screening will be available for three days only and can be watched anytime within this period.
