    Concord General Services is celebrating EPA WaterSense's "Fix a Leak Week" by holding a Royal Leak Detection! Enter to win a new WaterSense labeled toilet by sharing a picture of your leak detection efforts (reading your water meter, food coloring test, or fixture tightening/ replacing). Photos may be shared on Concord General Services' Facebook or Twitter (#IFixLeaks) pages, via e-mail, or by hand delivering or mailing to their office at 311 North State Street (c/o "Royal Leak Detection"). Even if you don't find a leak, you will still be entered for a chance to win. Entries must be received by March 20, 2015. View official contest rules for more information.

    The R.A.D. System of self-defense is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance. The course includes lecture, discussion, and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities. This is a 12-hour course broken up over four days and taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors. Each student will be given a workbook/reference manual which will outline the entire Physical Defense Program for reference and continuous personal growth. R.A.D. has a free lifetime return and practice policy for all R.A.D. graduates. This class only has 10 openings. Please sign up by March 11, 2015. Who: Women 18 + (13-17 can participate with an adult) Location: Central Fire Department Training Room – 24 Horseshoe Pond Lane When: March 16, 18, 23, & 25 from 5-8 To sign up or be notified of future classes, contact: Master Police Officer
